I usually don't surf down at Gunnamatta because of how it's extremely dangerous with its rips and rough waves. In saying that, yesterday I went down there hoping for a better outcome and that's what I got! The waves were beautiful and I was able to catch so many that lasted all the way to the shore.
Best conditions to surf Gunnamatta
Best to surf when swell is around 0.9m to 1.5m high and when tide is low. Light winds usually means that the waves are less rough and safer.
